We had a great time at the Print Dialogue Days last weekend at Appalachian State University. Many thanks to April and Scott for all their hard work! We met so many great people and look forward to having them join our Print Network.
Here's Fick rolling up one of his blocks to print t-shirts that were in high demand:

ECU Papermaking Demo
Last week the Sculpture Department at ECU held their Annual Tri-State Sculptors Conference, to get in on the action Matt and Michael decided to show those sculptors what they could do with PAPER!
Here's Michael Ehlbeck (dark shirt) discussing the finer points of embossing with a visiting sculptor.
Matt Egan discussing papercasting while his lovely assistant Heather Muise demonstrates.

Drive-By Press
Check out Drive-By Press's website. These guys might be planning a trip to North Carolina and can visit your school or art center. The more stops they make in the NC Print Network the better!

Matrixmatt and Lazymuse are heading out to the University of Northern Illinois for a much needed week of art-making and booty-shaking, ( not to mention bowling) with Ashley Nason, Michael Barnes and Mark Hosford. We'll be there from the 21st to the 27th, we promise to post lots of images when we get back.

Print Resources in NC
So I know this is just starting, but maybe we should begin cataloging print shops in the state, what programs they offers, etc, both academic and otherwise. Maybe consider including letter press people? Seems like there are plenty of printers here but not a lot of places to go to print, might be nice to have those in one spot.
